1965 Ford Mustang Coupe

This car was manufactured in San Jose, originally sold in San Francisco, and we bought in Sacramento. It left the sunny state of California for the very first time at the end of 2017, making tis way towards Poland. It has been quite a while since we had a car with such a well preserved body. No signs of rust are visible anywhere - even in the passenger foot well. The car was bumped against a bollard in the front - hence the dent in the bumper and the hood. A new replacement hood is included in the price.

The interior is a rare "Pony" option with different door panels, instrument cluster and glove box inserts and seat upholstery. It is worn out and requires replacement. A new headliner is located in the trunk. The center console seen inside is quite rare as well.

Mechanically, this car is very sound. Someone must have overhauled the engine not that long ago. The powerplant is an original 289 unit, despite the valve covers reading "302". It has an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold with a 4-barrel Holley carb. Headers and a fresh exhaust system, all the way to the mufflers. Rear pipes are missing. New aluminum radiator and fuel tank. The car runs smooth, sounds nice, the transmission shifts without any problems. The brakes work well, but require adjustment.

A great proposal for someone who will appreciate the originality of this high option car. The restoration process will definitely be less costly due to the good condition of the body.
